Effective weight loss is all about 50% diet and 50% exercise. There are many fad diets doing their rounds but they will never be recommended by physicians or nutritionists. Next, you have to incorporate fat burning food in your diet if you are really serious about losing weight. Citrus fruits which are rich in vitamin C possess properties which can liquefy or dilute fat.
Some citrus fruits and other beneficial fruits that you can try out are limes, tangerines, oranges, lemons as well as water melons, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, cherries, apricots, and apples.
Along with these, make Probiotic fat free yoghurt and dessert items, fat free milk, garlic, broccoli, cabbage, asparagus, carrots, beet roots, leeks, shrimps, scallion, brinjal, turnips, beans, parsley, pea, and pumpkin a part of your diet. These are all fat burning food.

Marketing blitz and celebrity endorsements are what fad diets thrive on. No doctor would ever advise you to experiment with these diets for they are anything but healthy and achieve dramatic weight loss by concentrating on the consumption of only one kind of food, while cutting out other types of food completely.

Are GM crops the way to go?
I have always been against GM foods but with so many people in the world and the lack of food around perhaps we don’t have much choice. I saw a guy on TV who is African and he said that his crops for the year failed because of drought. However if he had GM crops then they would have been able to survive. It’s very difficult in a situation like this to say that GM crops are bad. I know that if I were this guy I would do anything to feed my family.

Do You Eat Native?
So many people are eating foods that are not native to their own countries. The likes of Gillian McKeith tells us to be eating foods like Quinoa and Sweet Potato but these foods have to come a long way to get to thir destination. Also, if they are grown in Africa, we might be adding to the problems of food that Africa is experiencing. Africa has a problem feeding its own people let alone us too and there is also problems with water. This is one of the reasons that Lake Chad is getting smaller and smaller. What do you do in the name of healthy nutrition?

The are so many celebrity chefs these days saying that we should be healthy but at the same time they release cook books full of fat, salt and sugar. Is this something that they should be doing? There are loads of meals that can be made healthy as long as a bit of extra time is taken to think about it. For instance, instead of using potatoes you can use celeriac. Hebs and spices are also ideal for adding loads of excitement to a dish. People hardly cook anyway so perhaps it doesn’t matter. Rarely do people cook anything from the celebrity chef books anyhow.

What flavourings do you use in your cooking? I’m a big fan of using spices and herbs because they give an amzing taste to your food but also offer a load of health benefits that ar simply amazing. Ginger can be used in Asian cooking and also offers the benefits of improving digestion. You can use garlic in just about every type of meal and it has the ability to clean your blood. I really don’t think you can get health benefits from eating artificial ingredients, even buying nutrition supplements aren't up to much compared to eating real food.

I Love Food
Who doesn’t like eating. There is something so wonderful and satisfying about sitting down to your favourite meal. The problem is that often the foods we love the most are the foods that are the unhealthiest for us. We seem to be programmed to eat fatty foods probably because when humans we evolving, we didn’t always know when our next meal was going to be. Also, humans didn’t have central heating back then so needed fat keep them warm. The problem is that there are people who love to eat so much that we end up with the need for teen weight loss camps.
